Started in 2009, Dragfest Famoso was intended to be “a circus where a drag race breaks out.” After a long hiatus, the family oriented festival made a comeback in April 2018 as a three-day event showcasing nostalgia drag racing, A/FX cars, gassers, customs, door slammers, hot rod movies, music, car clubs, the Pedal Car Drags & Parade (for kids), a car show, a swap meet, vendors, food court, pinup contests, awards and much more. All are welcome and its “Run whatcha brung.” Vehicles up to 1972 make and models are eligible to race. Race fuel available on premises. 

Special group rate & parking for car clubs.

RACERS & CREW-Must buy 3-day Weekend ticket on Friday for entry and sign track waiver for each crew member. No One Day passes for crew.

Awards are due to promotor on Friday April 12, 2018 at Will Call Booth. Sponsor banners must be mailed to promotor one week prior to the event. MEDIA PASSES-No Exceptions

Must be accredited media outlet for media passes. Please submit credentials to anna.osr@gmail.com. Media Requests must be received no later than March 31, 2018. No Media credentials will be given on day of the event. Any media personnel violating track policy will immediately lose credential and entry and be escorted out of the event. No ladders on track, no remote aerial cameras/drones-no exceptions. Track access for media is strictly limited to one person and will be limited to media professionals only. All media personnel approved for track access must wear own safety vest and closed toe shoes and obey track personnel. Media outlets must provide proof of publication after event. We reserve the right to refuse service/access at any time. SEE MEDIA POLICY ATTACHED HEREWITH.

Event credentials get you in starting on Wednesday when the Camping gates open and Vendors and Racers start to park. No racing on Friday. Media credentials pickup on Friday.
